How would you describe your style?
My style can be described as modern with hints of texture to keep it from being too stark and sterile. I like a lot of clean lines but then add in texture to add warmth and interest.
Do you have any kids?
My husband and I don’t have kids yet but have plans to adopt in the near future and we can’t wait to become dads and throw our children the best parties and share them all with you!
Do you have any pets?
Yes! I love dogs! Two dogs – Daphne and Oliver. Daphne is a Pomeranian and Oliver is a Chihuahua mix. They’re both about 10 years old and I love them both very much. I also support a local senior dog shelter named Promise 4 Paws located in Council Bluffs, IA. They are a senior dog rescue where dogs go to live out their last days, months, years. I donate 5% of all profits from the Hello Invites shop along with volunteering there multiple times a year.
Where do you live?
I’m in Omaha, Nebraska.
I’m interested in sponsored content.

What kind of equipment do you use?
All photos are currently taken with a Canon T4i (newer model – affiliate link) and edited in Adobe Lightroom. My favorite lens is the Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 lens (Amazon link – affiliate link). All content is created in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. You’ll also find the occasional photo from my iPhone Xs since the camera is just so good.
I used your party decorations and want to share photos. How do I do that?
Awesome! So glad to hear that! Tag us in your photos using @helloinvites and the hashtag #helloinvitesparties. We can’t wait to see how your parties turn out!
Do you have any hashtags I can use to share my parties with?
Yes! Our main hashtag is #helloinvitesparties. We can’t wait to see how your parties turn out!
I have a different question? Can I email you?
Yes! My email is jeff [at] hello-invites [dot] com.
HI! I’M JEFF!
Welcome to Hello Invites! I started this site in 2017 because I wanted to catalog all of the DIY projects and recipes I create for my party photoshoots and to be able to share them with all of you.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Growing up I had a very active imagination. I would tinker with things all day long. I built a three feet tall ferris wheel out of legos that actually rotated (before there were kits to do the same thing). I started to build a camper that I would tow around the yard with my bike. I created countless art pieces.
My family got our first computer when I was 12. A program called Paint Shop Pro came with it. I spent hours and hours learning that program which introduced me to the world of computer generated art. At the time I didn’t know I could make a career out of it so I just played around all the time. I created many Geocities sites complete with animated gifs, scrolling text and music playing – all the bells and whistles of a great website (at the time). Surprisingly I didn’t take any art classes in high school but knew I wanted to major in graphic design in college.
I spent my undergrad getting my graphic design degree but knew I wanted more interactivity. I kept thinking back to my Geocities days so I took a job doing web design which led me to getting my masters in Human Computer Interaction and a career in user experience for a finance company.
All of these experiences have led me to where I am today. Creating super cute party invitations and decorations for your parties.
